Dr Fabiola Kaiser
Veterinarian
Dr Fabiola originally from Switzerland, graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2016, and started working as a GP vet in Stamford, England. During that time Dr Fabiola developed her skills as a GP vet, and in emergency medicine. In 2024 Dr Fabiola decided to make the move down under to pursue a new challenge, and join The Pines Vet. Dr Fabiola is passionate about all aspects of patient care. In her spare time Dr Fabiola loves spending time with her Greyhound cross Lucifer, Surfing and recently has taken up playing AFL with the Tweed Coast Tigers.
Dr Katie Tate
Veterinarian
Hi I'm Dr. Katie! I graduated from the University of Queensland in 2013 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with honours and have been working in the busy industry of small animal medicine ever since. I completed an internship at the Small Animal Specialist Hospital in 2016 where I rotated through various specialty departments including surgery, medicine, ophthalmology, dermatology, oncology and emergency. I have also spent the past six years in one of the Gold Coasts busiest emergency centres training in critical care cases and have also completed post graduate training in this area. In my off time I enjoy spending time with my gorgeous dog, two cats and of course my busy toddlers, who keep me run off my feet most days!I am so excited to be a part of the Pines Vet Team, I cant wait to meet all of your fur babies and give them the best health care experience they have ever had.
Dr Rochelle Lewis
Veterinarian
Dr Rochelle grew up living across the world in the UK, Ireland, Denmark & Australia where she attended a number of international institutes. Since moving to Australia, she graduated with a degree in Veterinary Science (Hons) at University of Queensland. Dr Rochelle has been with us since the start of 2023. She has a keen interest in small animal behaviour, surgery, and dermatology. She enjoys spending her spare time with her loved ones, and cuddling her Cavoodle, Gizmo, a recurring model for the Pines Vet.
Larnie
Veterinary Nurse
Larnie has been a veterinary nurse since 2019, but has been working alongside animals most of her life. Starting young as a volunteer at the RSPCA and Australia Zoo, she has worked her way up and into many different clinics over SEQ. Larnie enjoys caring for all sorts of animals, both big and small - including domestic, rural or native wildlife. She also has 2 little human critters of her own to care for and in her very rare spare time enjoys adventures outside, creating music and trying new things!
Kristina
Veterinary Nurse
Kristina joined The Pines Vet nursing team in June 2021 and has been thriving ever since! Kristina has been working in the industry since 2019, gaining experience with cats, dogs, and a particular interest in wildlife. To keep her busy, she has 2 staffies, Luna and Mini, and 1 Stimson's python Kane. In her free time, you'll find Kristina cooking, baking, creating art or spending time with her husband John.
